Snowflakes Cloak Hogwarts in Winter’s Silence

written by Cordalie Sauron

This is a charming poem that brings to life the magic of Christmas at Hogwarts, where every corner of the castle seems to come alive with holiday spirit. It’s a celebration of the bonds of friendship, the joy of togetherness, and the timeless magic that only Hogwarts can offer during the holiday season.

Snowflakes Cloak Hogwarts in Winter’s Silence

Chapter 2

In mid-December’s quiet dawn, Hogwarts awoke beneath a veil of snow,

The ground a sea of sparkling white, while winter winds began to blow.

With sweaters on and scarves held tight, the students stepped into the cold,

Their faces flushed, their spirits bright, as winter's magic took its hold.

The air is frigid, and snowflakes swirl on Hogwarts’ towers high,

An owl fights through the biting winds beneath the stormy sky.

The lake lies frozen, glass-like still, the grounds in white embrace,

While laughter echoes, Weasley pranks alive in winter’s grace.

Some students had departed for Christmas break, their laughter fading into the snowy stillness.

By Hagrid’s hearth, the owls rest, their wings in need of kindness.

But those who stayed within the halls, their hearts still filled with cheer,

Danced in the snow with playful shouts, their joy loud and sincere.

Beside the fire, the Mirror stood, reflecting hearts so dear,

Showing visions full of love, of hope, and Christmas cheer.

For what they wished, they’d find in time, a world of warmth and grace,

As magic wrapped them in its glow, with joy upon each face.

The Christmas holiday at Hogwarts felt like magic in the air,

With warmth that only Hogwarts knows, a peace beyond compare.

The halls were filled with festive cheer, the lights a gentle glow,

A time where dreams and friendships bloom, and all the world moves slow.

And when the break had come and gone, the castle doors swung wide,

The students gathered once again, with stories to confide.

Of snowy days and laughter shared, of magic old and new,

Reunited by the firelight, with hearts forever true.
