Posting rules
The site code of conduct can be found here. Please read it as it contains important information, but the short version is:
Don’t bully or harass; spam; post racist, defamatory, sexist or homophobic content, etc.; advertise or post inappropriate links that do any of these things.
Don’t post anything derogatory about blood status or House or encourage people to block or attack others.
Don’t plagiarize your assignments.
In public areas (school feed, forums, Great Hall chats, comments, etc.) don’t curse; post sexually explicit, graphic or violent content; keep it clean for minors.

Why won’t my picture post to the feed?
Picture links must end in .jpg, .png, or .gif. There’s also a size limit.
(Side note while we’re here - remember if posting fanart to post a link to the artist to give them credit as it’s stealing otherwise. If you don’t know the artist, you can look for them using Google’s reverse image search).
If you’d like a more thorough explanation of how to post a picture, read here.

Why doesn’t my post show up on the public feed?
Posts that contain inappropriate content (anything that goes against the code of conduct for public posting) and content that is excessively negative may be hidden from the public feed by the site moderators in order to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for new users. If this has happened to you, your posts will most likely still show up on your profile page and the follower feed for those who follow you.
