Hogwarts These Months
Chapter 1
Hello everyone, and welcome to the 9th edition of Hogwarts Monthly News! I hope everyone is doing very well today—and will be doing well tomorrow, and the next day, and the next!
October and November at Hogwarts has been quite rapturous with all the students bustling around, chatting, laughing, studying, and celebrating Halloween of course! This year's Halloween event was quite the spectacle with the lights out, and professors dressed as monsters emerging from the shadows! I really hope that next year will be even more terrifying.... and hilarious!
Naturally, Halloween is also a melancholic occasion for us all, because it is the very day that Voldemort killed Lily and James Potter, and made an unsuccessful effort to kill Harry Potter. May Harry's parents rest in peace.
Of course, October and November host some of our favourite HP characters' birthdays! Please extend a warm birthday greeting to Minerva McGonagall (October 4), Filius Flitwick (October 17), Molly Weasley (October 30), Sirius Black (November 3), and Bill Weasley (November 29) amongst others! I would say please have a closer look at them in the upcoming Hogwarts Happenings chapter, but regrettably, it has been cancelled for this issue.
There have been many holidays to celebrate recently, including Halloween, World Teachers Day, Thanksgiving, and much more! I hope that everyone has had a wonderful time celebrating, despite the freezing weather that has recently swooped down upon us all!
So, what are you waiting for? Flip to the next page of our magazine and keep on reading about recipes, interesting anecdotes, and the latest gossip! Dive into the magic within...
