'Babe!' He pulls you into a warm hug, hands in your hair, grinning at you.

'Draco!' You hug him back, and you are finally happy after a rough summer holidays.

'I've missed you so much!'

'I missed you too babe.'

'Come on darling let's go find a cabin'

'Yes sir' you laugh, doing a fake salute.

'Right then soldier, let's get moving!'

On the train

You two sit beside each other, your legs curled up on the seat, head on his shoulder while his arm wraps around your shoulders.

The only people that know you are together are in the cabin, Hermione and Ron because for some reason Draco told Ron.

'Baby, why did you tell Ron again?' you whisper in his ear.

'Oh- uhm I was thinking about you and your friends...' he stammers.

'Baby, I love you.'

'Love you too.'

'Mione, what classes are you taking this year?'

'Oh, I'm taking all of them except Divination and Muggle Studies.'

'Bloody hell Hermione!' exclaims Ron, 'Last year you tried that and you couldn't do it!'

'So you think I can't do it?!'

'Babe, no I just don't want you to overwork yourself, you barely had free time last year darling.'

'I love that Ron cares for her mental health,' you whisper in Draco's ear, 'but I think that she could do it.'

'Definitely,' he whispers back.

'Mu- I mean, Granger could do it.'

'Good save Malfoy.' says Ron.

'Ron leave him alone, we are working on it.'

'Ugh y/n you're no FUN!'

'Ron shut that mouth please.'

'Yeah Weasel, no one wants to talk to you...'

'Draco shut up before I make you!'

'And how will you do that princess?'

You wrap your arms around his neck and kiss him on the lips. You two haven't ever kissed before. You haven't even had your FIRST kiss, let alone one with Draco. He kisses you back.

'Ugh get a ROOM!' says Ron.

'Ugh Ron shut it.'

And Hermione kisses Ron too!

You pull away, amazed by what you had just done. Mother said no kissing boys till I'm 17... I'm only 14!

'Baby, what was that about?' he whispers softly into your hair.

'I-I-I don't know it was a spur-of-the-moment thing.'

'I liked it.'

'Same.'

At Hogwarts!

'Baby I'm starving.'

'Why do you always call me baby? Why not something more sophisticated like darling? That's what I call you.'

'Maybe baby'

'Ugh.'

In the common room

You and Draco walk hand in hand from the Great Hall to the common room.

'Father and Mother have a bet on us babe.'

'What are you on about honey?'

'They have a bet, to see how long we will last. Father says until Christmas and Mother thinks we are getting married.'

'Woah! Your mother has high hopes darling.'

'Yeah...' he says, sounding far away and distant.

'Draco.'

'Huh?'

'Theres a girl over there staring me down..'

'Oh my ex!'

'Really Draco? Didn't think to TELL me if you had a psycho ex?'

'Nope not at all, didn't cross my mind.'

'Idiot.'

Fast forward to the Yule Ball announcement.

'Now, just before the feast can begin, I must tell you all about the Yule Ball. It is a dance to celebrate the Tri-Wizard Champions, so obviously, they will get the first dance with their dates.'

'Baby... Will you go with me?'

'Of course I will! But, no one knows we're dating!'

'I guess they are finding out next week...'

You are walking alone in the halls when you see Theo. Oh no!

'Hey princess, wanna go to the Yule Ball with me?' he says.

'I'll have you know, I already have a date!'

'Ohh you're going with Draco, huh sweetheart.'

'Yes I am.'
