Dolores Jane Umbridge has always been portrayed as a villain; due to how people perceive her in later life. However, Dolores was once the normal young witch. That is until she defied her family and became the villain we all know today.

Lie 5 - My run in with Harry James Potter
Chapter 11
On the 12th of August 1995, myself and the Wizengamot interrogated Harry James Potter, the boy who lived. Cornelius had briefed me on why Mr Potter would be here at the ministry, and I said that he would never go back to Hogwarts.
The trail did not go according to plan, Harry potter did go back to Hogwarts and Cornelius had appointed me as the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts; to keep an eye on Mr Potter and ake sure nothing would happen.
Whilst I was at Hogwarts I met Draco Malfoy, Lucius and Narcissa’s son, who reminded me so much of his father. I formed the Inquisitorial Squad; in which Draco and his friend were members of, and became the High Inquisitor at Hogwarts. I dismissed Professor Sybil Trelawney as the Divination teacher and Dumbledore appointed centaur Firenze as the new one. Seeing Firenze made me shiver in the shoes; I could not believe when I saw him. The words he spoke to me when he saw me were: “Well if it isn’t the now older Dolores Prewett.” I was shocked and angry that eh called me that. “It is Dolores Umbridge now, thank you very much. I changed my name after my parents disowned me.” I had to show that I was more superior to him.
At Hogwarts there was one student who really annoyed me. Her name was Hermoine Granger. She was such a little know-it-all. I sensed that her, Mr Potter and their friend Ronald Weasley (who happened to be Molly and Arthur’s son meaning he was my nephew), were secretly creating a group bent on destroying me and the ministry. I put a stop to this group when I found out everything, the Inquisitorial squad and I found their training ground; signalling the end of Dumbledore’s Army.
I was later led into the Forbidden Forest by Hermoine and Harry who told me that Dumbledore’s secret weapon was hiding there. It turned out to be a giant who attacked me. I was then taken away by the centaurs, led by Firenze. I knew that those centaurs should have been banished from the forest when they attacked me all those years ago. I left Hogwarts after that.
I battled on the death eater side in the second Wizarding War, the first of which killed Gideon and Fabian, and the Death Eater’s lost.
