Draco P.O.V.:

Draco entered his room. The first thing he noticed was that everything had the colors of his house. He walked through the place for a moment. The floors were made of oak wood as well as his furniture. Upon entering, the first thing he could see was a large bed with emerald green curtains and silver decorations. The wardrobe was on the left side of the bed and was next to a desk in front of a large window. On the other side were two long shelves with Quidditch trophies and photos of his family members. Near the door on the right side was a chest with enough space to store his broom and Quidditch equipment. He felt very comfortable in his new room. It was even warmer than in his own house.

Hermione P.O.V.:

She stared for a moment at the books and their variety next to the fireplace and their comfort. She turned around and Malfoy was gone. She saw the door to one of the rooms half open and walked to the one next to it. The room was red and gold and looked beautiful. The bed was large and comfortable, on it there was a letter and a small basket of strawberries. On the right side there was a huge window with a desk in front of it. Next to the desk was her wardrobe. She opened it and found a letter floating in the middle of the empty closet. She read both letters she found, starting with the one on the bed.

'Miss Granger:

This room has been enchanted so that when you wave your wand and say the charm 'Cambiantum colorus' your room will change to the color you desire. So is with Mr. Malfoy's'

After finishing reading Hermione thought of a color and then stood up from the chair she was sitting in, took her wand and left the charm. Everything began to change from red and gold to a shade of fuchsia and lilac. She then did it once more to change to a salmon pink and light blue color. She then took the second card and opened it,

'As you may have noticed, the closet is completely empty. That's because it's enchanted. The closet chooses multiple outfits depending on the occasion. If none of them seem right to you, you can close it and think of the outfit you want to wear, when you open the door there will be several options of what you thought of.'

Hermione walked over to her closet and opened it again, this time instead of being empty, it had many pretty outfits of jeans with blouses that matched her perfectly. Hermione closed the door once more and thought of a dress. When she opened it once more everything was different, there were many evening dresses, gala dresses and casual dresses. She chose a red evening dress. It was very pretty and reached a little before her ankles. She put it on and decided to go see Draco. Something strange happened when she thought about him. Her stomach was filled with butterflies and she was very nervous. She looked at herself in the mirror of the shared bathroom and saw that when she thought about Malfoy her cheeks turned red. This didn't happen when she was with Ron but she decided to calm down and went to Draco's room.

Normal P.O.V.

"I see that your room is exactly the same as mine" said Hermione as she watched Malfoy contemplate the place. Draco was scared when he heard Granger's voice.

"For Merlin's sake! Granger... you... scared me" Hermione laughed lightly as she covered her mouth. Draco could feel himself blushing so he turned around.

"I'm sorry Malfoy. Hey I was thinking, can we call each other by our first names now that we're friends?"

"Oh? Oh, yeah, yeah sure Gran... Hermione. What time is it?"

"Let me see, it's... it's 9 at night, I think we should go to dinner."

"Yeah, I think so."

The two of them walked out to the Great Hall to eat. When they arrived, there weren't many people there anymore. Hermione sat down with her friends who were still there, got her food and sat down next to Harry and Ron. Meanwhile, Draco didn't have any friends other than Hermione and they didn't want him around. He sat down at the Slytherin table, alone and without anyone. He looked at Hermione and felt happy for her but at the same time he felt jealous because she had friends who loved her and family who loved her.

Ginny came to the table and sat down next to Hermione while pushing her brother.

"Excuse me Ron. Mione, tell me, has the ferret bothered you?"

"Gin, I already told them not to call Draco a ferret."

"Wait, now they call each other by their first name? I didn't... expect that." Harry said while looking at her strangely.

"Yeah... I didn't think... they'd become... friends... so quickly." Ron added as he devoured what was on his plate- "I honestly don't know... if you can... trust... him." He was finishing his fourth piece of chicken when Ginny stood up and walked over to the Slytherin table. She sat down next to Draco and was followed by Hermione. The rest were shocked.

"Hi Malfoy, can I sit?"

"Umm, sure, but why?"

"What do you mean with 'why', because I want to give you a second chance you dummy." Ginny smiled at him and Malfoy felt better. Then Hermione arrived and sat down as well.

"Thank you both," he said with a small smile.

"No problem Malfoy but don't you dare to ruin everything this time" Ginny laughed as Hermione gave her a little kick.

Hogwarts had never felt so peaceful and in a few weeks classes would start. They couldn't wait any longer. They were so happy to be home again.
