Lying on his stomach he opened his eyes only to see the forest floor. Using the palms of his hands and the stability of his knees Starsilver arose and observed his surroundings. The forest was known for many things but one stuck out from the rest, the name was given by an old forest Nymph and his knome friend, they called it 'Shadowed Scorch'. The forest would burn those who stayed too long but there was a difference, the fire wasn't the bright orange or coloured flames you typically see but it was of colourless flames. It was dangerous because there was never light penetrating the forest, it was always gloomy and stormy so the flames would be unexpected. A parchment paper was stuck to a tree by sap obviously on purpose for him to see. Morgan took the paper into his hands only to notice his picture and the words 'If found turn into Goldwell Prospects, keep alive a corpse gives useless information' in finer print read 'If found Dead will be displayed in towncenter for all to see'. "Dammit Flora!" he grumbled while folding the parchment and placing it in his sachel. He noticed another paper in which he opened and read, 'Before Floras' father got to you I grabbed you and retreated to Scorch, which you can escape from because I know you and there may be some help for you along the way. Upon returning back to the town please be safe and do what you need to do. -Jasper Shinywitch'. Morgan smiled reading the name. Him and Jasper had been friends since birth, their mothers best friends had given birth within two days of each other and both families live on shared property for generations. Jasper was everything to him and visa versa so for him to lookout for Morgans' safety was pretty nice. Morgan saved Jasper many times before so this felt weird because HE does the saving not Jasper.  And to just find out Father Goldwell is the cause for all this, even Flora didn't want to do it but was forced to. Morgans' eyes welled with tears just recalling the tears streaming down her face watching her longtime friend be in pain caused by her doing. A faint warm breeze blew across his face. Looking towards the way it's come from he noticed a black fog but it wasn't it was the fire. The fire is known to chase it's victims till they sucumb to their wounds. Morgan secured his items, fastened the bubblehead charm before securing his wand. The forest had a new victim to hunt, Starsilver.
