Chapter 2

Dear Diary,

This morning I thought to myself: "I'm going to sleep for the whole day today." Though, as you can see, I didn't. Which is a pity, 'cause I would've enjoyed that. All of a sudden, my mum woke up, and asked me, "Do you want to go out for breakfast?" I didn't really know what to say since I was still half asleep. Half an hour later, we went in the car and headed out to town. For breakfast, we went to a place called Weatherspoon, and here is a list of the things that I had: 1 egg, 1 hashbrown, 1 bacon, 1 sausage, baked beans, and half a piece of toast. I also had some hot chocolate. However, after I was really full after eating all that. I went out with my cousin, mum and sister who really did not look like they were full at all! My sister had some pancakes instead. While we were eating, I was watching the news, and it scared me so bad!! According to BBC News, in Sydney, a knifeman killed 5 people in a shopping centre before being shot dead by an armed officer! Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. Whatever I'm thinking has to come out of my mouth. Anyways, so that was the breakfast. It bit of excitement, and a bit of bore. If it was just one thing, than it wouldn't be a fun breakfast, would it?

After that, we stayed in town for a bit before going home. One of my cousins work in a store in town, so we can get many things for a cheaper price. We went there, and got a few things, saving 2.75 (in pounds). My mum just loves pictures, she takes too many a day. Most of the space in her phone is wasted because of her pictures. We took some pictures in this bench that was covered with bright flowers. We did so many different poses that I thought we were never going to end. In the end, me and sister started taking pictures of mum which didn't go very well. We're not the best photgrapher so she can't expect us to do it perfectly. As we were walking to the car park, there was a charity shop near by. Me and my sister love going to charity shops so we kinda forced my mum to go. Oh, there was just so many books that I could get. It took me nearly 30min to choose one book. After a while, I got a book about Sherlock Holmes and I can't wait to read it. Then I had to bye this ks3 Chemistry revision book so I have more to study at home. We were driving back home when my mum stopped by ANOTHER charity shop where I bought another book: Wonder. I'm sure most of you have heard of it.

We finally arrived home, and straight away went to the garden to play with our dog. She (is a she) is a Siberian Husky and her name is called Nukka which mean 'little sister'. She's turning four this year. As I stepped onto the grass, I could see holes everywhere. But I realised that it wasn't Nukka who did it, but moles. If you don't know what moles are, you can search it up. Their these little blind creatures who dig up holes in every single corner. Obviously, there was poo. Ok, nasty thing to say, but yeah. First of all, I had no idea what to do because she wasn't fetching anything. I got some treats and taught her some tricks which, for once, went well. I was discovering our garden and it's hidden passageways. I found a water gun. At once, I filled it up and started spraying Nukka with it. She had so much fun and so did I 'cause I started spraying some on myself. It was so hot outside that I needed some cool water pouring onto me. After, I went back inside (soaking wet) and was forced to do 5 pages of math. My mum gives me math that is supposed to be for a year higher than me so I don't really enjoy it. Anyways, it worked out in the end.

Of course, I went on HiH to check if I had any notifs or owls. As always, I did. I answere them, looked at them, whatever you normally do. Browsing in the Library is something that I do everyday. So many new books to read, I just love it. Once that was done, I looked at the PA applications 'cause I really want to be a CoMC PA which I don't think is going to happen. My Hogwartle of the day was done, and I got it right, like always. Then I was working on what my job is in 'Hogwarts Seasonal Magazine'. It was after quite a while, something big happened! I just had an owl saying that I was going to be in charge of 'Hogwarts Seasonal Magazine'. I know, it's scary. There was no explanation and it was all so sudden. What was I supposed to do? Now everything is a bit all over the place. I'll try my best, though.

With all those thoughts in my head, I had a very nerve-racking dinner. My dinner was chicken with vegetabel sauce and bread. Sounds a bit weird but it's really nice, I promise you. The bread goes with the sauce, and-well, the chicken, I don't know what to say. I rushed my dinner and quickly went to watch some TV, it calms me down sometimes. I watched this seiries called 'Mako Mermaids' it's quite good, but gets a bit boring at the start. My dad rang the doorbell, he had arrived! He was celebrating in Spain for Bilbao (Athletic) winning the world cup since that's where we're from. He brought so much food back home with him, and I was so excited just to munch it all down. That was the end of the day, I went to bed still thinking about the owl but told myself: have a good sleep, Kyra. Tomorrow's gonna be a big day.

Quote of the day:

This is a quote that I made: 'Sometimes the only way is downhill'- Kyra

I'm trying to say that you can't always be the best and always be at the top. Being at the top means taking many risks. Sometimes the best thing to do, is to be at the bottom. Life has so many difficult choices, but if it didn't, life wouldn't be as exciting as it nowadays.
