Hogwarts this month
Chapter 1
I hope all of you had fun this month! I’m sure all of you did in February, but it seems like the love has melted away into the ground. What has been happening at Hogwarts this month?
Staff carried on marking assignments along with the amazing PAs, and students hoped to get the assignments back with full marks. However, others took the chance to visit Hogsmeade, and you won’t believe what I heard! Rumors have been spreading that one of the students loved the Butterbeer so much that they dranks seven large cups. Though I have to admit, these are one of my favourite drinks.
To all quidditch players, I’m sure you're excited for the upcoming match. The two popular enemies: Slytherin and Gryffindor. Don’t worry, I’m only talking about one specific Slytherin enemy: He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named. I’ve got so many good friends in Slytherin; we must never judge a book by its cover. Wish good luck to both houses, because we all know that they both have been winners during their quidditch matches in the past.
In March some celebrations have been occurring such as ‘World Book Day’, and our team would love to hear what books you have been reading or what you dressed up as. I dressed up as Matilda, and now I realise how fun learning actually is. Some of you may have celebrated Holi, the Hindu festival of colours. Even though I have never celebrated this festival before, it sounds so exciting! Then we have ‘Las Fallas’, which I was excited to see what had happened while this was being celebrated.
It looks like this month was filled with celebration and joy. While I took a stroll around the castle, I didn’t see a single student or staff alone, which didn’t only make my smile grow larger but my heart was lifted.
Whatever you did this month, it sure made you happy. Now, I didn’t tell you everything completely because our next chapter is just around the corner and it’s awaiting you.
