Charlotte
“How are we supposed to handle this?” I asked Hellen, nudging her elbow.
“Charles! We’re leaving! NOW! So, get off the poor lad, and let's go home.” Hellen shouted at Charles. Charles got up from tackling Edmund and wiped his bloody nose. I just stared at Hellen.
“Okay. Um—wow,” I said once Edmund stood up. We all made our way towards the mansion. The second we arrived everyone was sent to the nursing wing.
“Why am I here?” Hellen asked politely.
“You're our witness!” Charles said happily. I rolled my eyes and waddled over to Edmund. I began putting small bandages along with the cuts that were forming on his face. I looked over to Charles, Hellen was roughly shoving tissue up his nose. I just slowly looked away.
“Hellen, I have these small bandages for his cuts.” I plopped a bandage on Charles’s head.
“Love me or hate me both are in my favor! If you love me, I shall be in your heart. If you hate me, I shall be on your mind!” Charles said, waving his arms around dramatically.
“I'm engaged!” I said slowly sounding out the words as I went.
“It's not real love!” I was called downstairs by a voice, so I grabbed the dresses and Attempted to run down the stairs. I quickly grabbed the railing once I felt I was going to trip. I let go and began to stumble.
Right before I fell I was going to hit the end of the stairs I was caught by something. Don’t punch them this time, Charlotte. Someone was grabbing me by the wrist right before the end of the staircase. I looked up to see who it was.
“Hello, my Juliet.” It was Charles.
“Oh god. You can let go of my wrist now.” Charles let go and I fell back, felt a sharp pain in my head, and everything went black.
