The Dursleys are a Muggle family consisting of three people in total. These:

1. Vernon Dursley (father)

2. Petunia Dursley (mother)

3. Dudley Dursley.

  Vernon Dursley, the father of the family and Harry's brother-in-law, works at a drill factory called Grinnings. He is fat and angry. He doesn't like Harry's messy and long hair. Petunia Dursley, the mother of the family, treats Harry like a disgusting dog. She takes care to give him all the housework. She loves her son Dudley very much. Dudley Dursley is at least as fat as his father. To his parents he looks like a cat, but to Harry he is nothing but a pig in a wig.

    When the Dursleys received Harry's Hogwarts letter, they prevented Harry from touching the letters and ran away from home. But the keeper of the keys, Rubeus Hagrid, found them and took Harry with him.
