Hello, my sweet diary. My name is Alice Manaka. Hope you’ll be my friend this year. Really, have so much to tell you! 

Some info as you can know about me, sweet diary.

I was born in  June 10th,  in Wizarding village Yurikuma in Japan. I’m pure-blood, if it can be important… My parents are gaduates of Mahoutokoro and work as Aurors. Well, due that we forced to move to Europe than I was 6. Parents worked for the Moscow Aurors Office and that time we lived in Muggles area. It was great experience for me, wasn't it? Till… Once mother was missing at a mission. Then, daddy sent me to Magical Britain for safety reasons. Sweet diary, now I live in Dad friend’s family in England! Of course they are pureblood too, so there are no worries for me. 

A week ago I recieved a letter from Hogwarts! So happy, so hapy, oh, my sweet diary, I’m going to be a witch!

Finally, I get my wand!!

Wand Length: 10"

Wand Flexibility: surprisingly swishy

Wand Wood: black thorn

Wand Core: dragon heartstring

Yesterday I visited Mr. Ollivander for this. Ollivander welcomed me and took measurements of my arm then bring large amount of wands. Oh, I was so nervous this time!

First wand I tryed was  10 2/3" Apple wand with  Unicorn core. I feel absolutely nothing with this wand. I returned the wand  to seller. He thought for a moment and offered to try 11'' wand of holly with a phoenix feather. It was very beautiful wand and I liked it. However, when I made a movement with the wand, there was an explosion and a lot of the boxes fell off the shelves. So scary, don't you think so? Ollivander snatched the wand from my hands and shook his head.

- You need something more swishy - he said. Finally Ollivander took another wand.  Elm and phoenix feather, very hard.

Not so beautiful as previous but also very nice.

When I took this wand, I felt warm. However, waving a wand, I realized that I feel resistance for charms. There are a shower of sparks and a store was shrouded in smoke. It was awful and I'm very sad for this.But Ollivander looked pleased.

-I feel I know what you need. He handed me 10" wand of black thorn and dragon core.I immediately realized that this wand is very comfortable in the hand. I feel the warmth and connection with the wand. I made a movement and see colored sparks. Ollivander said that  the wand chose me. 

- It will be good for Auror - he said.

Having paid for the wand, I am very satisfied left the store and went to the cafe. 

And...Tomorrow is time to go to Hogwarts! Can't wait to see the castle!
