After all my classes today I walked myself to Professor McGongal's office. I really hated that she was over the one for today. I mean if it was Slughorn I might be able to get away with something. But no it was her. And to make it worst I had a feeling howlers were involved with it.

I walked into the class room to see that Black wasn't here. If he is late for this I'm going to laugh my head off. I smiled as I was hoping that he would be but he wasn't. He had walked in right behind me and we both shared a glare with one another. Why must he be so...

"Take your seats,"McGongal said as we did,"I had ask your parents to send two things to me for this detention."

"No!"I said wanting to hide under the table as I saw the red paper,"Not a Howler!"

"Yes Ms. Gryffindor,"She said as Sirius looked not surprise about it,"Plus with something that you both will be doing for the other detentions as well."

I watched as she brought out a rope. NO! NO! NO! NO! My mom uses that to stop fighting among kids. She would tie up your hands together and you would have to do these set of challenges. No! No! NO!

"Please no,"I said again as Sirius laughed.

"It's only rope,"He said as I stared at him,"What?"

"She's going to tie us together and make us do things,"I said as he laughed,"You laugh now."

First were the howlers. We both stared at it scared to even touch it. McGongal just sat there watching the two of us as if this was to be amusing to her. I watched Sirius go for it and heard the shouts of his mother.

"SIRIUS ORIN BLACK!"It screamed at him,"WHAT WERE YOU DOING FIGHTING A GIRL! YOU BETTER OF HOPE THAT NO ONE TELLS ME WHO HER FAMILY IS OR YOU WILL BE WRITING HER AND HER FAMILY AN APOLOGY LATER! YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO BE REPRESENTING THE BLACK FAMILY THERE! FIRST IT WAS YOU GOT GRYFFINDOR AD YOUR HOUSE NOW THIS. UNBELIEVABLE! YOU ARE REALLY A DISGRACE TO THE BLACK FAMILY NAME! NOW AFTER DETENTION YOU GO UP TO THAT GIRL AND TELL HER HOW SORRY YOU ARE!"

With that it ripped itself up in front of him. Wow that was bad. I looked at mine scared of what my mother could have put into mine. Seeing as his was pretty bad. His mom didn't even know that we both were in the same deep sea waters like we are now. I sighed and began to open it.

"ABIGAIL ELIZABETH GRYFFINDOR!"Mine yelled as I cringed at my full name being yelled at me,"YOU GOT INTO A FIGHT AT SCHOOL. YOU BETTER BE GLAD THAT YOUR BROTHER WROTE TO ME EXPLAINING THE WHOLE THING OR THIS HOWLER WOULD HAVE BEEN FAR MUCH WORST ON YOU YOUNG LADY. BUT NETHER THE LESS YOU WILL BE APOLOGIZING TO THAT BOY FOR HURTING HIS PRIDE. MY DAUGHTER A FIGHTER. YOU BREAK MY HEART WHEN I HEAR THOSE WORDS ABIGAIL. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THAT HURTS. NOW SINCE THAT RANT IS DONE. I AM HOW EVER PROUD THAT YOU WON IT. BUT YOU WILL BE TELL SIRIUS BLACK YOU ARE SORRY FOR LOSING YOUR TEMPER. YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS TYPE OF THINGS. NOW YOU BETTER BEHAVE THE REST OF THIS SEMESTER OR AT LEAST TILL CHRISTMAS. HAVE A LOVELY DAY YOUNG LADY AND NO MORE FIGHTING."

Well mine wasn't that bad at least. I looked at the teacher as she nodded for us to come up. I was slower than Sirius for I knew what was coming up next. I held my hand out as she laid the rope on our arms. And like that we got tied together. Sirius tried to pull away almost taking my arm with him. I screamed grabbing him to make him stop for it was hurting.

"What kind of magic is this?"He screamed at me.

"My mom enchanted it to do this,"I said as he looked at me,"Please stop trying to move it will only tighten up more every time you do."

"You task is to write each other a letter of apology,"She said as I was alright. I was right handed and it was my left hand that got tied up.

"But I'm right handed,"Sirius said waving our hands up,"How am I suppose to do that tied to her?"

"You two can figure that out together,"She said going to her desk as two flew together with what we needed on them,"I would get started if you two don't want to be here all night long."

We shared a look before going over there. Getting into our seats were hard. I mean come on dude you are suppose to scoot over for me to sit down as well. That's why there is two spots. But I did manage to take my seat. I let my other arm relax as I set myself up on my side. I had place a weight to hold my paper down so that Sirius could write with my hand tied to him. I just didn't tell him that.

"Okay so I will write a little at a time,"He said as I nodded writing mine up,"And you will NOT mess me up. For if you do than I WILL mess you up."

"Okay just shut up and get to writing already,"I said as he did.

I looked down at mine and was kind of proud at what I was doing. It was not my best hand writing but it was also readable. I smiled as I read over my work. My mother had thought me to take pride in apology letters even if you hate that person.

"Alright done,"We ended up saying at the same time.

"Good now read them out loud to one another,"She said as I nodded,"Abigail you go first."

"Alright,"I said as little nervous facing the prick,"Dear Sirius Black. I am so sorry that I had lost my temper and attacked you. It was only a joke you had played on me and I shouldn't have done what I did. I just love my brother so much and take it kind of offensively when people talk bad about him. So I will hope in the near future you can understand that I really don't like it when the people I have problems with attack my family. So will you please accept my apology. Your Enemy Abigail Gryffindor."

"That was very nice of you Ms. Gryffindor,"McGongal said as I nodded,"Mr. Black."

"Do I have to,"He said as she nodded,"Dear Pest of a Princess. I know that you will not like me ever. So I have no idea why I'm writing this. But I'm sorry for what I did. You really do know how to punch though. But if you cross my path like that again I will come out victorious. So sorry I called your bother out. And sorry for the pay back prank. Sirius Black."

"You better be glad we are tied together,"I said through gritted teeth.

"You both can go,"McGongal said letting us go,"But Mr. Black I except a proper apology for Ms. Gryffindor on my desk tomorrow. And it better not be one like that one. For I will read it before I hand it to her you hear me."

"Yes ma'am,"He said running out of here.

I got my things and walked out. I was upset that he took that letter as some stupid joke but whatever. I got him in the next coming weeks. I mean what can he do that I can't.
