"A Gryffindor should not go around showing off Abigail,"My mother gripped at me again,"Do you not take pride in your family name."

"I do mom,"I said standing in front of her,"I just think that I should be free to prove to others that we are the true people who were right about it all. And show up the Heir of Slytherin for good."

She looked at me with disappointment written on her face. I sighed and went up to my room. I opened up my window and looked over the land we owned. All of the adventure was out there and she just kept me locked up. I couldn't go out with my brother. I couldn't go out and play quidditch with them all. I had to sit in my room and read my books so that I could past up anyone in my classes when I started school.

I looked out my window as soon an owl flew into it. It held a letter address to me. I smiled at took it hoping James Potter had something good for me to read. I was one of his friends and our families were close. Mom didn't like how I got into trouble with him but that is none of her business. I opened it up to see that it came. MY LETTER of freedom has came at last.

"Mom,"I yelled running down stairs happily,"Mom it came."

"What came deary,"She said more calm now.

"My Hogwarts Letter,"I said handing it to her,"I finally get to go."

She smiled at me happily as I laughed my head off. I can't believe I get to go somewhere else besides the minster of magic and diagon alley. I looked around as my dad soon came into the living room looking at me dancing around with pure joy. He came in and threw me over his shoulder as I laughed at it again.

"Next week we are going to go and get all of your supplies,"Mom said happily and there will be no horse playing or showing off young lady."

"Yes ma'am,"I said,"I promise I will not be using my gift to show off in front of everyone else."
