Platform Nine And Three Quarters
Chapter 5
On the day of September 1, it was officially time to leave for Hogwarts.
Of course, being the pureblood I am, I knew all about platform nine and three quarters.
We (my mother, my twin brothers, and I) got to King's Cross Train Station. We found the barrier between platforms nine and ten. My mother and brothers first ran in together. Then it was my turn.
3, 2, 1, and....SWOOSH
Wow. Platform nine and three quarters is interesting. The Hogwarts Express was there. I couldn't believe it. I was finally going to Hogwarts--
"A bit tiring, huh?" A pretty brunette girl standing next to me says, interrupting my thoughts. "Hi. I'm Trinity. You a first year too?" She asks.
"Yep." I reply.
"What house do you think you'll be in?" She asks.
"Slytherin," I say. "I'm a pureblood and--"
"Pureblood, eh? That's cool." She says. You're quite the interrupter, I think. "I'm a halfblood. Hoping to be Gryffindor."
"Oh." I say.
She stares at me and says, "Uh-huh. Oh." She's about to say something else, but then the train pulls up. "Nice meeting you!" She calls out as she boards the train.
I board the train and sit down by myself. I look out the window and find my family. I smile at them and my twin-brothers wave.
Finally. Here I come, Hogwarts.
