The Stores In Diagon Alley
Chapter 4
My father and I walked around Diagon Alley. I had heard Diagon Alley was beautiful and wondrous, but I never had expected this. This was simply amazing.
"Okay, let's get your stuff," my father said. He walked forward and I followed.
He walked into a store called Flourish & Blotts. "Let's get your books," my father said. He took a few books from the shelf that looked interesting. He paid for them -- with galleons, sickles, and knuts of course -- and we left.
We walked into another store -- Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions -- and I got some robes for school.
We walked into many more stores until I had all my supplies. My father drove me back to my mother's house.
The car ride was silent. My father's and my bond is not as strong anymore. It makes me sad.
