Hagrid left us at the station with our tickets, and you'll never believe what they said, they said platform 9 3/4! Since when was there a platform nine-and-three-quarters?! Mum and Dad said not to worry, but as I looked around at the faces of my friends, I think their words didn't do very much. So they took us to where platform nine becomes platform ten and said to walk into the wall in between the two platforms! Why would anyone in their right mind try to walk through a wall?

Of course, being my parents, they told me to go first to "boost everyone's confidence". Obviously, I wasn't going to do it no matter how boosted my everyone's confidence is, so I acted all innocent and asked them "What about my confidence?" Then they decided to go first instead. They walked right into the wall and disappeared! Then they came back and helped the rest of us through. I went first. All of a sudden, the wall looked very solid. But I took a deep breath and walked right through it!

On the other side of the wall was platform nine-and-three-quarters. There were people everywhere with their families getting ready to go to Hogwarts. I turned around and there it was, the Hogwarts Express. It was a big red steam engine with Hogwarts Express written on the front. "it seems like only yesterday I was boarding the old Hogwarts Express."    "I remember the day as clear as ever."    "That memory will never leave my mind."    The adults seemed to have forgotten why they were here in the first place, so of course, I took it upon my self to snap them out of it. "Hello? Earth to parents? YOU HAVE CHILDREN HERE YOU KNOW!" I yelled. That seemed to do the trick. They went back to parenting and started to make sure we had everything we needed. Then came the goodbyes full of tears.
