First, we went to a few stores to buy some books that we needed for the year we were going to be spending at a school called Hogwarts. It's a school for witches and wizards from 10 to 17 years old, and it was a pretty famous school in the wizarding world. I was so excited! After that we got some other school supplies, but then our parents gave each of us some money to spend in the stores! We bought some lollies from a sweet shop that I've forgotten the name of, and some awesome stuff from the most amazing store called Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, I particularly liked this lolly that took you into a realistic daydream for about half an hour, I was definitely going to use some of those. I also bought an adorable little creature called a Pygmy Puff, I called her Tulip, she was pink and like all of the other Pygmy Puffs she looked literally like a ball of fluff, SO CUTE! But did I mention the best part? No? Then guess what, I CAN TALK TO ANIMALS! Tulip speaks in a very high but still adorable voice.

Then Hagrid told us that we can bring either a cat, toad, owl or rat to school with us. I met a beautiful black cat with eyes like emeralds, so I called her Emerald. On the way out I met an owl the same shade of brown as the packages I would recieve from it, so I asked Hagrid if there was a rule against more than one pet and he said "as long as yeh can keep 'em in control yeh can have as many as yer want" YES! So I called the owl Edward. Once again on the way out I met another pet I wanted to keep, a rat as grey as stone that I named Max. " Why don' yeh take a look at the toads before we start leavin' again" Hagrid said smiling at me. So I went over to the toads and chatted with them, most of them were boring and didn't talk much but one of them was full of energy and seemingly couldn't stop hopping, so I named him Tom and left with each of my new friends.

Then we went to Ollivanders wand shop. The man that worked there looked very very VERY old, he had white hair and bright pale blue eyes that seriously creeped me out. Each of us took turns trying out different wands until we found the wand that was 'made for us' as he put it. Mine had a beautiful turquoise line swirling around it and it felt so natural when I waved it. It's core was hairs of a black cat. " Ah, you must be a Cheshire" the old man told me." How do you know?" I asked. "Because you just accidentally grew your ears and tail." I quickly made the tail and ears disappear and waited for my friends to choose their wands. Emerald said the best wands have hairs of a black cat for their cores, but I think she was just bragging about the wands that have come from her family's hairs...

When we were all done we left for the Hogwarts Express.
