When the two girls arrived, Jullietta was too busy talking to Ginny that she did not see where she was walking. Suddenly, she walked straight into a wall. Or... No, not a wall.... A very large person. She gasped.

"Hello, there!", said the giant. "I'm Rubeus Hagrid! And what might your name be?"

"I-I-I'm J-J-Julietta, S-S-Sir!", stammered Julietta timidly.  She was quite frightened by Mr. Hagrid's appearance. She, however, liked him. He shouted for all of the first years to follow him, and she did just that. They were led to a great castle.

"That's Hogwarts, right there", said Ginny, pointing to the castle. "Ron told me all about it. Sounds like we're in for an exciting year!"

"Yeah", mumbled Julie. She was still marveling how a building could be so large, as Mr. Snape's home was less than a tenth of this size.

Once they got to the docks, Mr. Hagrid left to go and eat his dinner, as they were lead to the castle. When they got there, they climbed to the top of the steps, and were met by...

"That's Professor Minerva McGonagall!", said Ginny "Ron told me all about her... Anyways, how do you think I look? Smashing? Ugly? Darling? Gross? C'mon gimme an answer before we' don't get to talk!"

But Julie was too marveled at the moving staircases and long passageways to reply.

"Each of you", replied the professor, "will be sorted into a house that suits you best. Come along!", and with that, they were off to the great hall. They stopped at the front of the large room and waited for their names to be called out.

"Ginny Weasely!"

"wish me luck", said Ginny, sqeezing Julies hand.
