The Train
Chapter 3
As soon as they arrived at King's Cross station, Julietta with her ticket in hand, Mr. Snape vanished. She sighed. How was she supposed to find platform nine and three quarters in this crowd? Then, she heard something very curious over the roar of the crowd. A voice shouting "Every year, packed with muggles!" She did not hear the rest, but she didn't need to. Only people like her used the word 'muggles'. She moved toward the voice. When she arrived at its source, she found a red haired lady and her little ducklings of red haired children. They were standing in front of a wall. She just had to find out why.
"Excuse me, madam", she said politely, "Do you know where I might find platform nine and three quarters?"
"Well of course, dear", said the woman, "It's Ginny's first year at Hogwarts, too!" At this, the smallest of the lot, the only girl, smiled at her. She to had red hair. Her face was splattered with freckles, and she had lovely dimples and rosy cheeks.
"Hi, I'm Ginny! What's your name?", she said
"I'm Julietta, but you can call me Julie. Julie Riddle.", said Penny, returning the smile with a warm one of her own.
"I'm Mrs. Weasley.", said the woman. "And this is Fred, George, Ron, Percy, and Harry, who, as you probably know, is not one of my own." All smiled, but the two called Fred and George began to protest.
"Mum! I'm George!" "And I'm Fred!"
"Oh, sorry then! Quickly, through the portal!", and with that, Fred and George ran straight through the wall. Percy and his parents followed. After them was Julietta and Ginny. Last were Harry and Ron, but the two didn't pay them much attention.
On the train, Ginny and Julie couldn't find Ron and Harry, but thought nothing of it. They were going to Hogwarts, and that's all that mattered to them at the time.
