Now it was my parents, my teeth were chattering and my legs were shaking. I couldn’t imagine my parents being the murderer. I went to my mum and dad’s room, it seemed pretty innocent to me. Willow was looking very carefully, which made me worry. I did not dare to look. 

“Hah! Perfect!” Willow exclaimed, making me jump.

“What is Willow?’ I muttered

“Jade, this is perfect!” These are your parent’s wedding rings. Look, if I press the diamond. There, look, a knife. It has blood on it. It’s dried up, but it smells strongly of new blood,” she replied.

I opened my mouth to say no, but Willow had a point. I can’t defend my parents if they are murderers.

Of course, we were both confused. Basically everyone had a good motive, except for Agatha. Who could it be? I put my hand in my pocket and felt the paper that I picked up from Agatha’s bedroom. Though this time, I felt like something was inside it.

“Willow, look. I got this when we went to Agatha’s room, I found it on the floor. It seems like there is a plant in it,” I added

“You are right Jade. What could this be? I’ve read a book with 400 pages about all plants but this one was not in it. We must add this to, this could be a weapon,” she bragged

I added that her room was always locked because, well, it is always locked. We had to start ruling out some people, but we were not sure yet on who we were to rule out.
