Chapter 7

We thought the best place to look was Noah’s room because, well, he died there. The corridor to Noah’s room hasn’t been stepped on since the crime, so clues still hang there, waiting to be revealed. I wouldn’t have noticed it if Willow was not with me. Footprints of shoes were laid there, on the floor. We both know that nobody has been here since, you know what. It feels like I’m in harry potter, you know, you-know-what and you-know-who. Anyway, if nobody has been here this can only be the shoe prints of the murderer. Willow got her phone out from her pocket and took a picture, so she could find out who’s shoe that was.

First, we went downstairs where all the shoes were placed, but none of them were the right shape. There was only one more shoe left, it was Ava’s shoes in her special box. Nervously, both of us stepped into the room and opened the box where the shoes lay. It was a perfect match!!

Again, Willow was so close to crying but she stood up straight before the tears sailed out. This was big, but to make sure we went to ask her mother if she had been in the corridor lately,”Hi Mum,” Willow stuttered. “I was wondering if you’ve been in the corridor where Noah’s room was?”

“Darling, what a silly question. That corridor is haunted and I don’t want you going in it either. No, I haven’t, it is unladylike,” her mother replied

We both looked at eachother, confused. She might be lying, or it may be true. I changed her alibi:

Ava jones:Not yet Shoe prints found on corridor to Noah’s room. Noone has been in the corridor since the murder so that had to be the murderer.

Everything was so confusing, everyone had a good motive. Blood, messages and prints, were they all working together?  I had added something to the paper:

All might be working together.

It was a possibility, Willow’s face told me that I was a good detective. I couldn’t disagree with her.
