Chapter 6
Millie Goldwell waltzes by the Slytherin Dorm door and notices it open ajar. She peeks in and notice the scene, Clarence petrified as a statue and Hendrix passed out on the floor 20 feet away. She continues on her way to go write a letter to mother, which was later intercepted. Clarence was later unpetrified but was already dead for a while. Hendrix was later tried for his crimes and was then placed in Azkaban. Millie was placed under careful watch as she finished up school. Mother and Father Goldwell continued as nothing ever happened but still grieving the loss of Connor. Mire and mud started to cover the streets of Prestine Possessions Marketplace as Spring rolled in. Clockwork Archives was ran by a novice but they still was running it like The Twins had. Shadow and I took on a different role. The Marketplace was bustling on a particular day as it was announced an unusual spring storm is arriving within a fortnight. A scream burst out in front of the Clockwork Archives and a small scene unfolded. A woman was banging on the door screaming about her baby and someone walked up to her exchanged words and she walked away towards the alley I was within. I whistled, she looked my way and I beckoned her to me. "They took my baby away from me and-" I shushed her a bit, "Does the baby have anything to mark its your child?" "Yes on the bottom right small toe is a freckle the size of a water droplet." "Would they know about this?" "No." "Okay, stay here and I'll be back with your child." The shop door was unlocked again signaling they were open again. Walking in, noticing nothing had changed in a long time, I walked up to the counter. The novice looked up at me, "Yes?" "You want to do something that's right?" He looked at me quizzically but responded "Isn't what I'm already doing right?" I lowered my voice a bit more, "No but you want to do what's right?" "Yes." "Was a child brought in here within the last 5 minutes?" "Yes." "Bring me the child and your life will be spared." He did as he was asked and I walked out with a sleeping child. I handed the child to the mother and they left.
I went to the Marketplace the day the storm was arriving and there was barely anyone around. I left Shadow at home and decided to take a walk. I strolled past the Shop and headed to the port. Sitting on a barrel facing the water with no obscurities and just the troubled clouds bringing the rain to the city. I may know how I got here but I do know one thing; Magic is not for the Weak. Voices shouted towards my direction and started running to me. They didn't have good intentions with me. I pointed my wand up to the sky, backs to them and just as lightning struck the water infront of me the thunder shielded my voice as I spoke out "Disillusionment!" The flash of light dissipated and I had vanished.
