Dear Diary
I don't even know why I'm doing this. By this I mean writing in this stupid book. Mother said it would help sort out my thoughts (I think that's rubbish) Nevertheless let me tell you about my day.
After greeting my parents at the train station I boarded the train where I saw my friends. Grayson Malfoy, William Nott, Apollo and Artemis Black. It was a long ride till we finally reached Hogwarts.
I couldn't say I wasn't excited to finally attend the school. The castle was beautiful so much so that it looked ethereal in the moon lit sky.
I wasn't the only one to be amazed by the beauty of Hogwarts. The other first years were just as amazed. The inside wasn't much different, talking portraits layered the walls as well as golden candles.
A professor called Flitwick gathered us infront of two giant doors telling us about the 4 different houses. Ofcourse I knew about all of them already but hearing the attributes from the professor seemed to change my mind about the other houses.
Hufflepuffs weren't cowards they were loyal and kind. Ravenclaws weren't shallow know-it-alls they were intelligent and resourceful. And lastely Gryffindors weren't just chaotic self sacrificing imbeciles. No, they were brave and selfless.
My parents might have killed me if I ever admitted that I was contemplating the other houses. If I was anything other than a Slytherin I would be a disappointment, an outcast.
Luckily my blood ran green and my ambition and passion overruled my need to save people. So I was sorted into Slytherin along with all my friends.
When we went down to the common room my first thought was how was I going to survive the winter in this cold dungeon. The prefects led us to our rooms.
I was sharing a dorm with Artemis and Lea Carrow a girl who I have never met. Atleast she was nice enough. So that was my day.
Until Tomorrow
