The Koa'S Society And Daily Life

Chapter 4

The Koa's had no Plan B. If captured, they would ingest a Muggle-Toxin, known as 'Arsenic'. When Wizards invaded Base Noe, many soldiers, children, woman and young girls were captured. The women were actually in charge of the base but the Wizards only interrogated the men and let the women get off. The Koa's language is a mix of literally everyone in existence, and can speak every language on the planet. They called this language : Koaniantyukanian, meaning " Speaker of all". Their houses were in trees, large treehouses that four to five family's at a time would reside. They had only two days of significance, the Sun Festival, The Sun Festival usually lasted five or six months they dressed up in Sun Colors and danced and sang chants about the Sun's glory. Then the Moon Festival, the moon festival was a celebration of women and their meaning to society. Most Moon Festivals happened on the moon's fullest point. And was how young women were married off to a another warrior. They dressed in palm-skirts and wore ( GROSS-OUT ALERT) the teeth of their foes or opponents to harness they're power. They used forms of education for everyday life: Ceremonial Teachings, Warrior Training and Priests Of The Moon. Many people visit Koania for a vacation sot and gawk at the locals wearing funny headdresses, funny clothes and just doing funny things. One Wizard hunter, Jakterwer Mon, captured a family of Koa to put in a zoo. Of course, this practice is illegal, since Koa has some rights, but the zoo still stands and a plague above the Koanian Habitat reads: "Here are the savage beasts that roam our countryside, they belong behind bars." As you can see, this is why the Koa revolted. They were tired of being treated like house-elves. ( who now have more rights thanks to S.P.E.W,) The family of Koans were finally set free to live their own lives. The family now lives in Koanian Life Reserve, a company that gives land to Koans around the globe. Populations of Koa have grown from 113 in 1923, to 1,458 in 2016. About three-thousand square miles of and have been given to Koa in the last century. Many young Koa have started organizations to try and help their people. Moon and Sun Festivals and crude clothing have been outlawed. The most well known organization was started by Imea Dayte in 2005 called 'Free Koa'.
