A Little Backstory
Chapter 3
Tiny revolts had broken out through some of the clans, but none strong enough to launch a full-on-full-strength attack. The First Revolt is known as a bloody battle that lasted only two months, because the Rebels weren't supplied with the correct weaponry. One fairly known small revolt dubbed " Massacre of Arrows", because of the fact that the Koa's army rained hundreds of arrows down upon their foes. In a survivor's account he described it as: " They were like rain. They darkened the sky, we all stepped out to see, I will never get that out of my head how the arrows ripped and tore the tents to pieces, impaled comrades." The Massacre of Arrows didn't involve in hand-to-hand combat, only arrows and spells were fired towards the enemy. In a Muggle war, called World War II, the German's used a kind of strategy called "blitzkrieg" means "lightning war". The Blitzkrieg was not caused by Muggles, but by a whole Wizard Squadron. They would send down lightning to strike the enemy, and the spell made a planeish sound. The Koa's surrendered only because of we had more men. Many war prisoners were taken and interrogated. The Koa's had a very crude way of torturing people, most of it isn't known, its a secret that Koa's have carried down since the dawn of time. Then, the Koa disappeared from the face of the earth for four months. The Koa agreed to sign a treaty, the Treaty of Peace Between Wizard and Non-Wizard Species or TPBWNW. This treaty lasted two years, then the Koa recruited other clans into the fight. The Minister at the time didn't want to go into another war, the last one had cost them men, youth and money. So they installed spies in the clans, individuals who had a skin color similar to the Koa's. Many spies died. Many came back with information. Most were African Wizards, who had also signed a Peace Treaty with the Animagi Rebublic. One well-known story of a African Spy was a man named Kyotoch Amaguanda, Kyotoch was sent to one of the Koa's Bases, The Noe Base, there he discovered their plans to attack the Ministry on the next full moon. He was killed by his own comrade soon after.
