Acromantula - J’ba Fofi
The Jba Fofi is a, as it is called in the muggle world, cryptid, as to say it has been sighted and is an unconfirmed species. The Office of Misinformation has worked diligently, so much so, that cryptids are regarded most heavily as a hoax, with most of the muggle population. The Jba Fofi is native to the Congo, it is said to have a brown body like that of an Acromantula, with a leg-span of four to six feet. While this length seems short for an Acromantula, it is unlikely that any muggle could have seen a full grown Acromantula, that can grow up to fifteen feet, and lived to tell the tale.
Ashwinder - Starter of House-Fires
The Ashwinder, while not possessing any reported sightings, has gained attention in the Muggle World. The Ashwinder can lay red ember-like eggs, that are said to engulf a house within minutes. It is commonly the reason for many house fires that go without an indefinite cause. We advise any Witch or Wizard to always attend their magical flames, so as they do not birth an Ashwinder that may harm anyone, especially a defenseless muggle.
Augurey - No Known Sightings
There have been no known sightings of the Augurey, however, there have been legends that are similar to that of the Augurey, such as with the (now known) myth that the Augurey’s call means impending death or doom, so does the owl in some ancient muggle cultures such as in Roman, Indian, Polish, and Asian culture. In Italy, Russia, Germany, and Hungary, an owl is still considered to be a deathly omen. The sighting of a similar looking bird to the Augurey, the vulture, is commonly associated with death as well.
