WRITER'S ADVICE
Use more creative alternatives to words:
(Maria Fell)
Hello Young Writers,
Writing is an important thing in some people's lives and, if you’re reading this, I am assuming it is in your life.
English especially is a difficult trait; there are homophones and all that tricky stuff. But what can be even more annoying is when you’re stuck repeating the same word many times over and over again… It can get a bit drastic, can't it?
Well, here are just a few ideas for the word “walk”:
“stalks”
“runs”
“trots”
“leads”
And many more! There are always lots of words on Google that are similar to “walk”. Bear this in mind when finding ways not to make a book a drag for readers!
