The morning started at 4am for me and Willow just to get some time before lessons started. Mr Oakley and Mrs Hail always woke up early on Thursdays, this was our chance. First up, Mr Oakely.
“Hi Sir, do you know anything else about Miss Burbank? We miss her terribly and want to have a journal,” we lied.
“How did you find her Journal? It was so well hidden. I order you to put it back right away!” he warned
“What Journal?” we asked
“Oh, you didn’t find the journal. Umm, I wasn’t talking about any journal. You should get some rest,” he replied.
We walked off, knowing that we had to find this Journal. We have the perfect question for Mrs Hail, though we are not sure if she knows the answer.
“Hi Mrs Hail, Mr Oakley asked you where the journal is? He would not tell us what journal, but he did say to tell him immediately,” we lied, again.
“What Journal? Oh, Miss Burbanks journal for the plan…
tooo? Right, the bills, yep. Tell him behind the orange coat in the cloakroom,” she replied.
We knew it was not for the bills, and why hide the book behind a specific coloured coat? Of course, we didn’t tell sir about it. Instead, we went to take a look ourselves.
There was only one orange book in the cloakroom and behind it was a diary, saying ‘Miss Burbanks plan’. Grabbing it with curiosity, we headed to our room. Then read it.
“Hello teachers, I show this to you because I trust you. Meet me in the history room at midnight.
Miss Doyle answer: Miss Burbank we have no time to do this, everyone is busy. Tell us in the book.
Don’t tell the Headmistress about it. On wednesday after my dance lesson, I need one of you to pretend to be me but dead. I’ve got a mask and some make up. I need the headmistress to think I am gone. The government was planning to put her into jail forever and replace me as headmistress instead. Zoe (in case you guys don’t know Zoe is the headmistress) is trying to murder me before this happens so no one can replace her. This is so she can stay as headmistress as no one is in line. On Thursday, I will come in looking completely different with the name of Miss Hazel. Thank you to all teachers.
All teachers: We will do that, no problem.”
Me and Willow looked at eachother, happy, but then also confused. All the teachers were helping Miss Burbank. The headmistress is evil.
