Lesson 2 : Bright Lights And A Little Softener

Chapter 2

Lesson # 2 : Bright Lights,and a Little Softenor

Today,we are going to learn 2 spells. So pay attention to the lecture.

First Spell : Verdimillious Charm.

-This charm will shoot out green colored sparks or electrical energy.

-The sparks, when used as a defense, will explode around the target and surround them with the discharge. This will cause some slight pain for your opponent.

-To cast the spell at an opponent say the incantation, pronounced vur-duh-MILL-ee-us, and move your wand in a forward slashing motion. You should end the movement with your wand pointed at your target.

-When not used for defense, the Verdimillious Charm can be used to illuminate a room. This is done by saying the incantation while waving your wand in a circular motion above your head. Make sure that you are not aiming at anything other than thin air. A green light will then shoot out of the wand and explode several feet away.

-Doing this will also cause any hidden objects, such as doors or platforms, that have been hidden by dark magic to be revealed. However, once the spell has ended they will no longer be revealed.

Second Spell : Spongify

-Spongify is a spell that is quite different than the other one. Spongify is also known as the Softening Charm.

-As the name suggests, when cast properly, the target of this spell will soften. Do not think it will suddenly become pillowy, it won’t. It will develop a more rubbery texture and may become slightly lighter.

-It does not conduct well with metals, stones, living objects, or any kind of food. If you try to cast the charm on another person, their hair and skin may become softer.

-To perform this spell, clearly speak the incantation, SPUN-jee-fye, while moving your wand in an “S” motion. If done correctly, a pink light will shoot out of your wand and surround the target.

-Keep in mind that this spell works best on small, handheld objects.

-As you charge the spell, you will notice the color changing from pink to a purpleish-pink. Once complete, this spell will last anywhere from a minute to an hour. The longer you charge the spell, the longer it will last.

                                             The last message from Prof.

That is all the time we have for lesson two. Practice these charms, but do so in an area with plenty of room! Study your notes and I look forward to seeing you next week!
