The Relics Of The Houses
Chapter 3
Salazar had his locket, inscribed with a silver S.
Helga had her cup, inscribed with a golden H.
Rowena had her diadem, inscribed with the words "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure" *
Godric had his sword, inscribed with the silver lettering, "Godric Gryffindor" #
* The diadem supposedly gave wisdom to the one who wore it.
#The sword could be pulled out of the Sorting Hat- (see chapter 4) It is also the only relic Lord Voldemort didn't make a Horcrux of. The other three were all horcruxes.
