Description: Used to unlock doors.It is not effective on doors bewitched to resist this spell. The spell can also unseal doors upon which the Colloportus spell has been cast.
Seen/Mentioned: Used by Hermione Granger in 1991 on the forbidden Third Floor Corridor at Hogwarts.
Etymology: Possibly a form of the Latin "alo hoc mora" meaning "I raise this barrier"
