Do not worry about getting sorted into a house. You will not be wrestling trolls or anything like that. It simply is just sitting on a stool and letting the famous sorting hat put you into the house that you deserve. But if you are so worried about what house you are going to be in you can tell the sorting hat your worries and he will take your wishes into consideration. Firstly, before all of that exciting stuff, you have to listen to the famous sorting hat song, which changes every year. 

     Now about the houses. We'll start out with Slytherin. Some of you might think that Slytherin is a house of soon to be murderers and death eaters. Well think again because Slytherin can be a house of wonderful, loving students that you should grow to enjoy. 

     Now onto Ravenclaw. If you are exceptionally smart you would probably end up in Ravenclaw. That doesn't mean though that if you don't end up there that you wont be smart. It is an honor to be in Ravenclaw just like it is in Slytherin.

     What about Hufflepuff? House of the weak? Well think again because many great wizards come from Hufflepuff, for example, Cedric Diggory, who died a heroic death. So don't be ashamed of being in Hufflepuff, you are just as smart, outwitting, and bold as the others.

     Gryffindor is house to the brave and the bold. But you don't have to be brave and bold to get in, Peter Pettigrew was a great wizard but made the wrong decisions. Like I said before you can be in any house you want just remember to stay on task at Hogwarts and you should do fine.

   Now into paying attention during class.
