The Void Period of 1611

Chapter 4
During 1611, there was a period of peace and harmony between the Goblins and Humans. This is known as the Void Period of 1611, because nothing happened during this period that would suggest the upcoming rebellions in 1612. According to some early historians, "Nothing would suggest that the Goblins were at all angry at the humans for the catastrophic lost of the Goblin City during the Incident of 1610..." The Humans saw this is a type of silent treaty that they would not interfere with Human's, and that they would in turn not interfere with the Goblins.

However it is widely known now, that the Goblins were not at all suggesting a peace treaty, but were plotting for the upcoming rebellions. Why? After the incident of 1610, their main city, the Gobin City was practically destroyed. All of their previous defenses were wasted during their defense against the Youkin Army, and most of their army was also dead due to their useless attacks. So, they took refuge in their own city. They did not try to contact any other race in the magical world and cut themselves off completely against the wizarding world.

During the time of refuge, they started training a new army (which was mostly comprised of young and promising goblins) under the nose of the Wizards' Council. They also started to build up new defenses, and they started planning for the attacks against the Youkin Empire and the Ottoman Empire. Now we must remember, that Goblins' are a cunning and smart race, and they are not to be underestimated. They brought back many of their previous elders, and it is said that during this Void Period that they drew up one of the most massive raids ever conceived, against the Humans. This attack's code name was, "Überfall der Jahrhunderte" which in Goblese means, "Invasion of the Centuries". If this raid would have been carried out, the Ottoman Empire would have fallen sooner.
