Hello! My name is Shahmir, and today I am going to be teaching you guys about the 1612 Goblin Rebellions. First, let me give you guys a bit of a history about me, and why I wrote this book. If you guys don't want to read this, go ahead and skip to the first chapter as this is not going to be dealing with the actual rebellions but instead about the book itself. 

About Me

My name is Shahmir, and I was born on October 8th, 2002. I grew up in a magical enviornment, but I sitll had exposure with muggle society as I am a half-blood. My mother was a witch and my dad a muggle doctor. When I got my Hogwarts letter, it came with no suprise as I had always shown some magical blood. When I came to Hogwarts, I was initially very nervous and didn't get as good marks as I had wanted. In the end though, I managed to graduate with an O in everything including History of Magic which I got a 96% in.

In my second year, I have not yet started the actual History of Magic course, but I have read History of Magic carefully and understand the implications of History in magical society. I have always loved History in general as I have always thought of it just as a bunch of battles and wars, but I know there is much more than that. I have also really loved to write all along, as I have written one textbook already which I didn't complete on Potions called Beyond the Classroom.

When I graduate from Hogwarts, I want to get into Potions and become a Potioneer or a Healer as I have gotten a love of medicine from my dad. I am also the founder of the STR or otherwise known as the Standard Textbook Regulations. That is basically all there is to know about me for now, so let me begin the actual reason I am writing this book.

The Purpose

The reason I am writing this book is because I have never seen the matter of The 1612 Goblin Rebellions be discussed neither in the History of Magic neither in lessons so far, so I have decided to take matters into my own hands and write a book about it discussing the matter in-depth. I also have gotten masters in the field of History to talk about this historic civil war and rebellion. 

There is also the matter that the 1612 Goblin Rebellions still have implications in the present and will carry these implications into the future, so it is best to understand the actual history behind this historic event. And if you plan on taking Care of Magical Creatures, Defence Against the Dark Arts, or History of Magic this might come in handy to understanding these facinating creatures, their histories, and what they are capable of.
