The storehouse of knowledge, entertainment and every bookworm's heaven, the currently enormous Hogwarts Library, was full of visitors throughout the month, as usual.

Many bookworms were seen curled up at a desk, their nose buried in the treasures of the library. Various groups of friends were seen huddled together in different corners, studying, compiling notes or just being chatty.

Our team made the most of the library too, as usual, for our academic and entertainment needs. Here's us reporting back from our escapades to the Hogwarts Library.

The bookshelves were full of incredible study material, opinion pieces, study notes, guides, essays, journals, diaries, personal catalogs, enthralling fiction stories and novels.

The 'Most Popular' books continued to be reprinted and edited versions of textbooks, Harry Potter fan-fiction, study materials, notes and books on topics like wandlore.

The 'Textbook' section housed the following incredible textbooks, handwritten by our honourable Headmistress and Professors: -

• "A History Of Magic" by Bathilda Bagshot, edited, reprinted and published by Headmistress Oshiro - Though not a mandatory textbook, this is a highly recommended referential read for your History of Magic classes, as you will have noted Professor Everby (History of Magic and now also Ancient Runes Professor, Hogwarts) saying during first year History of Magic lessons.


• "Gardiner’s Sign List: A Magical Addendum" by Olin and Arkaeus Baldric, brothers from Manchester, England, edited by Clio Ravenwood and re-edited and reprinted by Venita Wessex (ex-Ancient Runes Professor at Hogwarts) - This book is a meticulously compiled, comprehensive and accessible list of magical hieroglyphics and a useful guide for contemporary magiarchaeologists and curse-breakers.


• "Magical Drafts And Potions" by Arsenius Jigger, edited and reprinted by Professor Draekon - While not necessary, this is highly recommended material for Potions lessons, as said by Professor Vaylen Draekon (Potions Professor at Hogwarts) during first year Potions lessons.


• "Mama Val's Quick Remedies" by Valencia Curtis, reprinted and edited by Professor Draekon - This is an additional supplement to your potions studies, recommended by Professor Vaylen Draekon during third year Potions lessons.


• "Peregrin Tugwood's Guide To Looking Great (and Feeling Fine) " by Peregrin Tugwood, reprinted and edited by Professor Draekon - This is a book with most potion recipes taught in your fourth year lessons at Hogwarts.


• "Rapa Nui and Rongorongo: Isolated and Elusive" by Venita Wessex - It is a magi-anthropological journal based on the tiny island community of Rapa Nui, aka Easter Island, in Polynesia.


• "Rune Dictionary" by Venita Wessex - It is the textbook recommended alongside the Ancient Runes lessons by Professor Venita Wessex during the second year of Ancient Runes lessons. It contains the runes of the Elder Futhark with their meanings on all the different levels.


• "The Essential Guide to Hogwarts Portraiture, Ed. II" by Professor Rosenquist - This book is meant to be used in conjunction with the Magical Art lessons in the sixth year at Hogwarts. Professor Serafina Rosenquist is the Magical Arts and Alchemy Professor at Hogwarts. She is also temporarily presiding over Divination classes at Hogwarts, after the voluntary retirement of ex-Divination Professor, Professor Swithun, from her post.


• "The Guide to the HiH Library" by Headmistress Oshiro - It's exactly what it sounds like, a guidebook for the Hogwarts Library, along with the rules and restrictions for publishing and a foolproof way to report offensive or inappropriate books that you can use if you find the library cluttered with spam books advertising abortion pills, love spells or counterfeit money.


• "The Magical Mediterranean" by Venita Wessex - This is yet another magi-anthropological journal co-authored by Professor Venita Wessex, that focuses on the Mediterranean.
