Grade-A-Palooza

Chapter 8

The word Palooza is described as a wild, crazy and extravagant party.

While grading assignments can definitely be one of the most tedious and daunting tasks for Professors and Professor Assistants, the Hogwarts Professors take care to reward the prefects adequately for their valiant efforts and hard work towards helping grade the students' assignments.

The Grade-A-Palooza is an event that honors the Professor Assistants who grade the most assignments in a month. It is essentially a competition hosted by the zealous and dedicated Professor Serafina Rosenquist (Magical Arts and Alchemy Professor, temporarily also teaching Divination at Hogwarts) and the awards are handed over by none other than the meticulous and committed Potions Professor, Professor Vaylen Draekon.

The most appealing certificates are awarded to the Professor Assistants who bag the first position.

In the previous month, which was September 2023, the winner of this competition was the tirelessly persistent 2nd year Slytherin student Evony Senoj, who has held the position continuously for quite a few months. She is a Charms, Transfiguration and Flying Professor Assistant at Hogwarts.

This month, the unbeatable topper, Evony Senoj, took the second position, having graded 433 assignments, with Andromeda Cyreus, 3rd year Slytherin, Defense Against the Dark Arts Head Student and Potions Professor Assistant, having graded 589 assignments, being crowned the winner of the Grade-A-Palooza competition. In the third position, having graded 401 assignments, we had Chaos, 2nd year Slytherin, Defense Against the Dark Arts and Herbology Professor Assistant at Hogwarts.

In the previous month, the second position was taken by Andromeda Cyreus, and the third position was taken by Chaos.

For those who didn't notice, allow me to point out that the competition has long been and continues to be dominated by the serpents of Hogwarts, the Slytherin house.
