“Stella!” 

“What is it Orangestripe? 

“Fire clan warriors are attacking!”

“Tell Windfur and anyone else who wants to help get the kits to safety and make sure that the nursery is protected.” Said Stella rather frantically.

“Got it but how do we protect the nursery we don’t have any warriors!” meowed Orangestripe.

“ Anyone who can fight can help. We also need to protect our borders.

“ I can fight!” Said Moonpaw confidently.

“You fighting fully trained warriors oh i think not!” Hissed Orangestripe

“Oh okay then I was just trying to help……..” Said Moonpaw in a small voice

“Oh and when you get back to the nursery make sure to defend yourself in there it could be dangerous!” Orangestipe laughed

“ Why does he have to be so mean? Well…..  I guess he’s right.”Thought Moonpaw.

Moonpaw walked to the nursery in deep thought about what she had done with her life.

“ Maybe I shouldn’t have joined Sun Clan, maybe all this was a mistake maybe I should just go back to being a twoleg pet……. NO!  Screamed a little voice in Moonpaw’s head 

“ It was nice there and all but you can’t go! remember what Darkpaw said?

“well yeah but….” Thought Moonpaw having an argument with the voice.

“  He said to join him you can’t leave! You signed up for this sort of thing when you agreed to join the clan! Orangestripe said it would be hard!”

“Well yeah but”

“ Don’t you but me!”

“  Ok ok I’ll stay!”

“Good.”

Moonpaw reached the nursery and slammed face first into the door.

“Oww oh the door well i’d better get inside.” Meowed Moonpaw.

“ Oh gosh oh gosh oh gosh!” Meowed one kit in the nursery.

“Shut up will you I’m sure our clan can handle it!” Hissed a grey kit.

“Hey you leave her alone!” Said Moonpaw 

“You can’t tell me what to do! Spat the grey kit.

“Oh yes I can!” Yelled Moonpaw.

“And how is that?” Said the kit.

“She is my friend and if you don’t leave her alone right now I’m going to tell Windfur.” Replied Moonpaw satisfied 

“Windfur doesn’t scare me!” 

“well I could always fight you…” Said Moonpaw extending her claws.

“Ok… I’ll leave her alone.” Said the kit nervously.

“ Thanks Moonpaw!” Said the kit coming out of the shadows.

Moonpaw knew it was Lily even before she came out just by the fact that she was being bullied.

“ How can they think they have the right to bully you like that?” Meowed Moonpaw

“ I’m smaller than them and don’t pose a threat.” Replied Lily.

“Thats not a reason they should treat you better!!!!”

“ I well.. really you don’t have to do this I’m used to it but thanks.” Meowed Lily.

“No really they shouldn’t treat you like that and I’m going to put a stop to it!”

‘Oh ok…..” Meowed Lily shyly.
