A Complete Guide to the Wizarding World
This textbook, written by Avendium Acheron, Phellus Plegethon, Luna Lethe, Cirus Coctyus, and Seripha Styx, is an amalgamation of topics from the Wizarding world. Some Muggle topics are also included, but Muggles are not the primary topic of a Wizarding textbook. Please use this textbook responsibly. Being a Complete guide to the Wizarding World also means that it contains both Legal, ministry-approved topics, and illegal topics, so the use or intended use of information marked with “URI” (Unaproved / Restricted Information) may result in a punishment from a simple fine and up to a life sentence at Azkaban. Herpo the Foul was a dark and powerful wizard, known to have invented the Horcrux. He was rumoured to have a natural talent for the Dark Arts, even as a child. He lived in ancient Greece and was known for his cruel and sadistic nature. He eventually became known as The Foul after being shunned by the rest of Greek wizarding society for his obsession with dark magic. Herpo is also the creator of the basilisk, which he used in his attempts to conquer the world.

Merwyn the Malicious was a wizard who lived in the early British Empire, during one of the mediaeval centuries. He was known to have a great talent for the Dark Arts and was feared by both wizards and Muggles alike. Merwyn was a power-hungry individual who craved magical power and control. He was especially adept at using curses, jinxes, and hexes, being known to have invented many of them.

14 - Fulbert the Fearful

As the name "Fulbert the Fearful" suggests, Fulbert was an extremely fearful wizard living in the 11th century. He was so afraid of the world around him that he practically never left his house. One day, while casting a defensive charm, the spell backfired and caused his entire roof to cave in, killing him. Despite his unfortunate and ironic death, Fulbert's fame lived on.

Paracelsus was a renowned healer and scholar who lived in the late 15th to early 16th century. He was credited with discovering the ability to understand and communicate with snakes, known as Parseltongue, which is a rare and valuable ability in the wizarding world. Paracelsus was also known for his bold and unconventional medical theories, which challenged the prevailing beliefs of his time.

Cliodne, from the beautiful lands of Ireland, was a renowned druidess who was famous for her magical powers. She was said to possess three divine birds that could sing the sick to sleep and heal them, a talent that made her highly valued by the people. In addition to her healing abilities, Cliodne was also known for her ability to shapeshift into a seabird or even a wave, making her a force to be reckoned with. Cliodne's favourite hobby was flying. It's also said that she discovered the properties of moon dew, which is believed to have magical healing powers.

Morgana, also known as Morgan Le Fay, was a powerful and feared figure in the Arthurian legends. Often depicted as King Arthur's half-sister, Morgan was a dark sorceress who possessed great magical skills. She was known for her ability to cast powerful spells and even shape-shift into the form of a bird. Morgana is a rival and enemy of Merlin. She is also said to have been involved in many significant events during her time. Despite her dark side, Morgana was also known for her skill as a healer. She also was crowned queen of the island of Avalon.

Uric the Oddball was a highly eccentric wizard known for his quirky behaviour and unusual choices of appearance. He was often seen wearing a jellyfish for a hat and was said to be quite the character. One of the incidents that placed his name among the most eccentric involved his ownership of 50 Augreys, a mythical bird that was said to foretell death, however, they, in fact, foretell rain. This misassumption causes Uric to assume his augreys had predicted his death and he was a ghost. Uric, who was known for his eccentricity, took the prediction in stride and attempted to run through a wall, resulting in a concussion.
