A Complete Guide to the Wizarding World
This textbook, written by Avendium Acheron, Phellus Plegethon, Luna Lethe, Cirus Coctyus, and Seripha Styx, is an amalgamation of topics from the Wizarding world. Some Muggle topics are also included, but Muggles are not the primary topic of a Wizarding textbook. Please use this textbook responsibly. Being a Complete guide to the Wizarding World also means that it contains both Legal, ministry-approved topics, and illegal topics, so the use or intended use of information marked with “URI” (Unaproved / Restricted Information) may result in a punishment from a simple fine and up to a life sentence at Azkaban. Avendium has also included a number of Charms and enchantments attached to the pages of this book, allowing for a greater educational experience.

Graphorn Horn
Grindylow Tooth
Grindylow teeth have been used in wandmaking due to the discovery of their magical properties. Grindylow wands have a rough and brittle consistency, but they are sharp and highly accurate, making them a favoured tool for powerful wizards when casting spells. These wands, however, don't provide results that are particularly impressive for any type of magic. They are known for their exceptional accuracy when it comes to hitting their target, reducing the likelihood of a failed spell.
Hippogriff Talon
Hippogriff talons share the same properties as dragon heartstrings, providing wands with their strength and raw vigour. These cores are often paired with reinforcing wood to further amplify spells, particularly destructive spells. Dark wizards prize this core for its notable aura and potent influence. However, wands with this core do not work well with timid or unconfident individuals. Only those who are sure of themselves can adequately wield wands containing this core.
*Horned Serpent Horn
The Horned Serpent is a mythical and elusive creature, whose horns are said to grant incredible magical power to wands. These wands are very rare due to the difficulty of obtaining the Horned Serpent's horns. However, if one can acquire a Horned Serpent wand, it will provide extraordinary power in spellcasting, amplifying the bearers' magic despite their skill level. This wand also responds to the Parseltongue language, vibrating when it is spoken near it and warning its owner of approaching danger. Additionally, these wands have a rumoured loyalty to their bearers for a lifetime, forming a strong bond with them. Witches and wizards who have earned the Horned Serpent's blessing have the potential to become formidable magic users, and the Horned Serpent wand can be one of the most powerful and desirable wands in existence.
