Back at Hogwarts
Chapter 4
(Bella, Ginny, and the trio were back at Hogwarts, and it's the night they got back)
Bella made her way to her common room, after having just ate a silent dinner in the Great Hall. Bella wasn't very hungry, but tomorrow would be a long day, so Bella decided to eat a little bit. Bella turned a corner, where she bumped into a dirty blonde girl, with bright blue eyes. "Oh, i'm sorry!" The girl pleaded, apologizing over and over. "Oh, it's fine! I'm Bella," Bella said, giving her a smile. "I'm Maizilyn," The girl said. "But I like to go by Maizy," She added. "oh cool! My real name's Isabelle, but I perfer Bella," Bella said to Maizy with a little giggle. "What year are you? I'm fourth" Maizy asked. "Same. I'm a Ravenclaw," Bella said to her. "Me too," Maizy smiled. "Do you maybe want to be friends?" Bella asked. "Sure!" Maizy said to her. They dove right into conversation, as they walked back to the common room. There were shots of 'What dormitory are you in?' and 'Have you seen colors yet?' and by the end of it, Bella had gotton out that they were assigned the same dormitory, and Maizy has seen colors. In fact, she saw them on Draco Malfoy, but she didn't tell Bella that. Bella told her everything that had happened with Harry back at Grimmauld Place, and Maizy's reactions were on point. By the time they had entered the common room, it was nearly midnight. They must have taken the long way. "Better get some sleep," Bella said. "Yeah," Maizy agreed. They went up to their dormitory, and fell asleep as quickly as a cheetah can sprint. Well, maybe not that fast, but it was somewhat close.
Bella woke up the next morning, and got dressed in her robes. She had not ever really liked the clothing she wore. It was very irrelevent that today, September 2nd, 1995, was a Saturday, and they had no school today. That was totally in their favor. Then she realized why she was putting on her robes, and she slipped off her robes, and dove into her drawer, trying to find something comfy. It was Saturday, so Bella thought about taking Hazel to meet Ginny. They would very well get along, Bella thought. They had the same personality, and they both like her. Right? Well, yeah, it seemed that way. Bella put on blue denim jeans, and put on a matching blue hoodie, with her name embroidered below a large R. It was her Quidditch hoodie she received from playing the last year. Bella was very athletic, and loved the sport very much. She is a Chaser, and she just adores it. It's one of the things she bonds about with Ginny. Their love for the game, and zooming around. The love for feeling the wind in their faces. Tryouts were in a few weeks, and Bella needed all the practice she could get. But the only people who play that she knew, were her fellow Gryffindor friends. She was afraid this would cause rivalry in between the sport, but she didn't care. Bella woke Maizy up, and they went down to breakfast. Bella explained her plan to Maizy, who agreed sleepily. Bella and Maizy went to find Ginny, Hermione, Ron, and Harry in the Great Hall. Bella wasn't trying to look for anyone but Ginny, but it's a little hard when they are all in the same house. "Hey. This is Maizy," Bella said awkwardly. "Oh hi!" Ginny said warmly. "Hello!" Hermione said cheerfully. "Pleasure," Harry greeted. Ron kept shoving food down his throat, when Hermione gave him a good ole' whap from the side of the Daily Prophet news paper. He glowered at her, then kept shoving eggs down his throat. "Does anyone want to go to the Quidditch pitch and begin training? I know it's early, but I want to make the team this year," Bella asked. "Sure!" Ginny said quickly. "We'll get our brooms after breakfast. How about you sit down, you two, you look awkward," Ginny called them out. Bella and Maizy sat down opposite Harry, next to Ginny. "What position do you play?" Harry asked Bella. Bella was taken aback, but answered all the same. "Chaser. And Maizy is a keeper," Bella answered. Maizy smiled. "I'm a Seeker. Ron's a Keeper as well, and Ginny is a Chaser," Harry replied. Bella grinned. "I know," She answered, then gave Ginny a side eye. "Bella, I am sorry how I acted at dinner the other night," Harry said awkwardly. "Oh no. It's fine. I really could care less," Bella answered, not wanting to talk about this. "I shouldn't have acted that way. I know I shouldn't make excuses, but I did really have a bad summer, and I really didn't want to deal with extra drama that second, but we can talk it out now," Harry replied. "No, Harry. Seriously, it's fine. We can be friends if you want," Bella argued. "I want to make this right," Harry said. "Let it go," Bella demanded, and held out her hand. "Friends?" Bella asked. Harry shook it with his. "Friends," He agreed. Bella smiled. Ginny grinned at Hermione, and Bella kicked her with her foot. They finished eating, and summoned their brooms. They were walking to the Quidditch Pitch, when Bella noticed something. "Oh screw it. Why are we carrying these brooms, and walking?" Bella asked, as she jumped onto her broom. It shot up into the air, and held itself there. "I'll race you!" Harry told her. Bella laughed. She had won second in the fastest broom-racing competition last year, and Harry was first. Bella had gotten a Firebolt, exactly like Harry's this year, so the outcome might be different. "I beat you once, I can beat you again," Harry mocked. "Can you?" Bella said cockily. Ginny started a countdown. When she got to one, Bella kicked off, and went zooming. Her and Harry were at the same pace. She looked over at Harry, who was smiling. She looked back forward. She was going straight for a tree. She tried to turn away, but the broom wouldn't move. "Bella, watch out!" Ginny yelled. "I can't move!" Bella cried worridly. "What?" Harry asked, as Bella got closer and closer to the big branches. Feet away.... Inces away....
