After the feast, Perce led us up to our dormitories. Someone had brought our belongings up, which was great, because my Mum made me pack everything. 

The next morning, I had to sit with Hermione in Transfiguration. Ron and Harry had come to class late. McGonnagall said something that I didn't expect.

"Mr. Potter, Mr. Weasley, I you ever have the thoughts that you may come to class late whenever you please, I suppose you two won't have a problem with me turning Miss Potter into a pocket watch," I froze dead in my tracks while getting some ink.

"Uhh, P-professor, t-that shouldn't be necessary..." I was terrified.

"Yes, that should scare Mr. Potter and Mr. Weasley into coming to class on time," Professor McGonnagall said. I shivered and went back to writing. I felt as if I should slap her. 'She can't be any worse than Granger' I thought to myself, then continued wworking.

After Transfiguration was (thankfully) over, came Potions. As we entered the classroom, I saw the person I really didn't want to see. Professor Snape.

"There will be no foolish wand waving or will incantations in this class," He said.

"Reckon he hasn't washed his hair for a century," I whispered to Ron.

"Well... well...well.... what do we have here? Miss Potter, let me ask you a question, what would I get if I added powdered root of asphodel to and infusion of wormwood?"

"You would get a powerful sleeping draught, also known as Draught of the Living Death"

"Let's try again, where would you look if I told you to find a bezoar?"

"A bezoar is a stone taken from the stomach of a goat, and will protect you from most poisons, professor,"

"Yes, one last time, what is the difference between Monkshood and Wolfsbane?"

"They are both the same plant, that go under the name of anconite, professor,"

"Well, then, kindly refrain from talking in my class, since this is your first day, I will let you off the hook, but don't expect that later on in the year,"

"Yes, professor,"
