The Train Ride
Chapter 3
I plopped down on the seat across from Ron. We shared the same birthday, March 1, 1980.
"Sooooo," I started. "We're both starting our first year, I hope I'm in Gryffindor."
"Me too, I think I will be, though, considering the rest of my family is," He replied. "And, err, Leilani?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, I hope you find your brother here," He said, and my eyes instantly welled up with tears.I tried to hold them back, but they fought against me. "I'm sorry, Leilani!" I didn't mean to make you cry!" He motioned for me to come to the other side of the compartment. I rested my head on his lap, and drifted off to sleep. I awoke to the sound of the compartment door opening. I figured I hadn't been asleep for long, it was one of the other students.
"Hey, can I sit here?" He asked. "Everywhere else is taken."
"Sure!" Ron and I replied simultaneously. That's another thing, we usually say the the same things at the same time, sort of like Fred and George. Perce and Mrs. Weasley thought it was adorable, but Fred and George thought it was just plain annoying. ("That's our thing," They'd say)
I noticed the boy and I had some resemblances. Dark Brown/Black hair, Blue eyes, and we both wore glasses.
"Hi, I'm Ron. Ron Weasley," Ron introduced himself.
"I'm Harry. Harry Potter," Harry said. Ron and I's eyes widened, for two reasons. One, we had just met The Boy Who Lived, and two...
I'd just met my brother.
