The Effects Of An Echo Flower

Chapter 2

Most believe the fated Echo Flower's origins are from an underground cavern in a mountain named Tebot. Spite the weird name, Tebot was not your original muggle mountain. It was filled with many things, such as the first Mandrakes. Echo Flowers were first found here, but others have found them in other caverns and caves, making us question where it came from. Mt. Tebot was a very strange mountain, which led to people believing Tebot was where it originated from. Yet, it still seemed strange, even for Mt. Tebot, for the Echo Flower to originate here. A witch named Henrietta M. Wells, a mud-blood if you must, was seen to have been the first ever magical being to discover Echo Flowers. She was about 7 when she had found it, and when she had brought it home to her parents, they freaked out and the flower eventually drove them crazy. When they turned mad, young Henrietta ran away because of threats to kill her if she wouldn't make the flower shut up. She was found later that week and taken in by a half-blood family. When it was time, she got her letter from Hogwarts, and showed us her flower, hoping we would know something about it. It so happened to be that Henrik was at Hogwarts at the time, and he took an interest for the strange plant, and started to study it with Henrietta. About a month before Henrik had figured out the formula, Henrietta suddenly died, making tragedy all over the news and Henrik and Henrietta's friends were devastated. This made Henrik curious, because she died with the flower, or at least when he came back to his common room, where Henrietta lie. The last time he had seen Henrietta alive was the week before, on a Friday evening acting strange. She had never separated from the Echo Flower, as far as Henrik knew, so he suggested it was caused by the flower. Even Hogwarts officials never found out the reason she died.
