The Magical Sandwich

Chapter 1

Once upon a time, there was a young witch named Sandy. Well, not really a witch. You see, she was a Squib. She was 13 years of age, and quite disappointed at not being able to perform the spells her siblings could. Even her twin was a "proper" witch!

Her and her family lived at the edge of a large, mysterious, and magical forest. One day, she was out in the garden tending her posies (a muggle flower) and knotgrass when a pale grey unicorn came up to her. "Hello, Sandy. my name is Silverswift. Please, come with me." the unicorn seemed to say into her mind. "Um... hello? Where do you wish to take me?" Sandy nervously whispered, slowly rising to her feet. " I have heard your wishes of being a witch, and have come to answer them" He replied. She got up on to his back, and he rode off into the woods.

After an eternity of flowers, birds, centaurs, and trees, they came to a clearing. in the clearing was a small fountain, glistening with magic. It glittered as though the moon where shining off silver glitter spread atop a polished silver platter. "Here we are." Sandy carefully dismounted.  As she approached the fountain, she noticed the water was swirling with a purple glow. She stuck her hand into the water, and was pulled in!

She arrived in a small deli With  one wizard manning the counter. Her was tall, and had a long, cream-blonde beard. "  Hello! I take it you will be wanting the wishing sandwich?" he asked. " Yes!" said Sandy, quite in awe of what she'd seen. He handed her a sandwich the size of her fist made with stoat, creamy brie cheese, and many other items she could not identify. "Just eat it and think hard your wish!" the man instructed.

She ate the sandwich, thinking hard about being able to perform magic. After she swallowed, she arrived home in her garden in a poof of golden smoke. She ran inside and grabbed her sisters wand, who had left it on her nightstand when she went to take a shower. "Lumos!" she cried, and watched in awe as the tip of the wand lit up.
