Complicated Charms And Super Weird Spells!
Chapter 3
Ugh! What was that spell again? Wingardium Leviosa? No, no, stupefy? Or was it aguamenti? Oh God, you can't remember! Well, in this chapter, we'll teach you to remember some spells that are very basic but useful!
Lumos= A charm that lights up the tip of your wand like a flashlight.
Wingardium Leviosa= The levitating spell. To make objects or organisms float, all you must do is shout this double-lettered incantation!
Accio= The summoning charm. Is that book all the way on the other side of the room? Accio, and it is in your hands!
Aguamenti= Want some water? Well, clearly speak out this spell to quickly put some in your cup. (Hint: To get a full glass of water without getting up, say Accio Goblet, then once the goblet appears, point into the middle and say Aguamenti!
Point Me= This charm is very, very helpful when searching for something. In fact, Hermione Granger gave this spell to Harry Potter in the 4th book when Harry was to find his way through the maze in the Triwizard Tournament. All you must do is think of a location or object or person in your mind and then, with your wand in the FLAT palm of your open hand, whisper or speak Point Me, and your wand will point you to the direction in which the thing/place/person is located.
NOTE: To learn about more advanced spells, you can learn in a class or buy the textbook in your local Wizarding library or bookshop.
