Special Ed and what it's like

Chapter 2

Special ed is Very  different from school to school. I have had many different special ed teachers over the years. For elmentary school, I had 5, I think, and only one stayed for more than a year. But then, in middle school, Everything changed, for the first time ever, I had a special ed teacher who had her own room, students in my grade, and she respected my pronouns. (In sixth grade I started using they/them pronouns.) And there was a sensory room! It had a trampoline, pillows, and some cool sensory toys. I loved it there. even though, I only went in there oonce, (There was another class using it, the kids with more higher needs) for a toronado drill, it was awesome.
