GHOSTS: 

XX harmless 

Ghosts are the essence left after a person dies. They have no abilities in the physical world - only sending a cold chill when walking through the living. They have the ability to turn invisible - but don't purposefully walk through them as this is seen as rude. Only magical people can become Ghosts. Avoid topics as such; 

1. Never bring up the topic of their death. 

2. Never bring up the fact that they are no longer with the living. 

3. Always thank them for their time.

POLTERGEISTS: 

XX harmless 

Are spirits of chaos. They can interact with the physical world (ex. touching or throwing objects). It's very rare for them to have a physical form (exception of Peeves). The only way to get rid of a Poltergeist is to abandon the place it inhabits - though coming back will also summon the same spirit. Some ways you can notice them;

1. Banging on walls or other noises with no source. 

2. Objects suddenly thrown. 

3. Unexplained smells.

4. Physical attack from an invisible force.

GYTRASHES: 

XXXX dangerous / needs special training 

A large white dog with black eyes. Nocturnal. They attack in packs of six (mainly hunting humans), there is a pack in the Forbidden Forest. They attack by taking turns in lunging and biting before attacking again. 

If a Ghost or a Gytrash is bothering/attacking, the wand lighting charm will scare them away.
