Harry's Fourth Year was, once again, an eventful one. To accomodate the immensity of it, the Author has composed three main points.

1 - The 422nd Quidditch World Cup

During celebration of the Irish victory, followers of the Dark Lord, called Death Eaters, raised their insignia, The Dark Mark, and tortured the Muggle campsite owner and his family.

"Of course, it was amazing. The whole game was amazing. The aftermath is what caused so much ruckus.The Dark Mark appearing...that was the first time that it was seen since the Potter's deaths in 1981. As you can imagine, it was quite disturbing. Caused much catastrophy at the Ministry"

2 - The Triwizard Tournament

The Triwizard Tournament was reinstated for one year only in 1994. The champions were as follows...

Mr. Viktor Krum of Durmstrang Institute

Ms. Fleur Delacour of Beauxbatons Academy

Mr. Cedric Diggory AND Mr. Harry Potter of Hogwarts School

Many believe Potter's entry into the tournament was against his wishes and was a plot to get him killed.

"Je ne veux pas être un champion. Vraiment, je ne l'ai pas. Mais ... si je n'aurais pas été choisi pour être champion de Beauxbâtons, je n'aurais pas rencontré Ronald, et si je n'avais pas rencontré Ronald, je n'aurais pas rencontré William. Mon mari, vous savez. Je n'ai pas bien fait. Je suis la dernière place. Madame Maxime était très, très en colère contre moi. En rétrospective, je suis heureuse d'avoir été choisi comme champion."

The first task consisted of the Champions having to retrieve a Golden Egg from a real Dragon's nest. This egg contained a clue, in Mermish, to the Second task, where they were to retrieve a loved one from the Black Lake. Ms. Cho Chang for Mr. Diggory, Ms. Hermione Granger for Mr. Krum, Ms. Gabrielle Delacour for Ms. Delacour, and Mr. Ronald Weasley for Mr. Potter. The third task included retrieving the Triwizard Cup from the center of an enchanted maze. This ended in catastrophe.

3 - The Dark Lord Returns

The Triwizard Cup was turned into a Portkey by Bartemus Crouch, Jr., a noted Death Eater, impersonating ex-Auror Alastor Moody. The Portkey transported both Potter and Diggory to a graveyard in Little Hangleton. Peter Pettigrew, on the Dark Lord's orders, killed Diggory befor using Potter's blood to resurrect the Dark Lord. Potter escaped with Diggory's body and his life. This event ended the Tournament permanently.
