Lesson Three: Red Caps Study Guide
Chapter 4
Red caps live where bloodshed occurred, such as old castles, battlefields, & forts & live in holes. Their cap is dyed red from smearing enemy bloodshed. Red caps can die if the blood on their caps are dried up. Red caps have a hollow head, a fifth of the size of a Kappa hollow. They have wart bumps which is used to absorb the blood on their caps. They must find a hat to do this process. Red caps are rated XXX & are hostile. They carry either big sticks, huge bones, & pike staffs to use as weapons for attacking. Red caps are less violent during mating season. Muggles won't be able to defend themselves if coming across a red cap. To defend against one red cap, use the Full Body-Bind Curse or the Leg-Locker Curse. To defend against more than one red cap, use the Immobilization Charm.

2. Red cap strikes humans & declares a hat
3. Red cap smears the hat with blood & covers its hollow
